    A lot of questions were asked on how can we contribute to YUPlayGod Codereview. This is how you could contribute to the YU-AOSP program. Follow the steps to start contributing.

    How to configure local Git

    1] install git on local machine:
    sudo apt-get install git

    2] configure git with you github credentials

    git config --global user.email "you@example.com"
    git config --global user.name "Your Name"

    How to login/create account on YU Gerrit

    You can login to the gerrit server/create account using Github account:

    http://codereview.yuplaygod.com/login/#/q/status:open?id=gerrit-oauth-provider_-github-oauth

    How to add SSH key to YU gerrit

    How to Generate an SSH Key

    · From the local Terminal or Git Bash, run ssh-keygen

    · Confirm the default path .ssh/id_rsa

    · Enter a passphrase (recommended) or leave it blank.

    · Remember this passphrase, as you will need it to unlock the key whenever you use it.

    · Open ~/.ssh/id_rsa.pub and copy & paste the contents into the box below, then click on "Add".

    · Note that id_rsa.pub is your public key and can be shared, while id_rsa is your private key and should be kept secret.

    After key is generated, Add it to: http://codereview.yuplaygod.com/#/settings/ssh-keys

    How to submit a patch to individual repo on gerrit:

    1] go to repo on github/gerrit

    location: https://github.com/YUPlayGodDev/{projectname}

    e.g: https://github.com/YUPlayGodDev/HelloWorld

    2] clone repo:

    git clone https://github.com/YUPlayGodDev/{projectname}

    e.g:
    git clone https://github.com/YUPlayGodDev/HelloWorld

    3] make any necessary changes in the repo

    4] add the changes and commit them on local git machine

    git add *
    git commit -m "COMMIT MESSAGE GOES HERE"

    5] add the gerrit remote to local machine

    git remote add {remotename} ssh://{username}@codereview.yuplaygod.com:29418/{projectname}

    e.g.: if your git username is "abhishek" & the project name is HelloWorld

    git remote add yugerritremote ssh://abhishek@codereview.yuplaygod.com:29418/HelloWorld

    6] now push the local changes to gerrit for review: [make sure that your ssh keys are added on YU gerrit]

    git push {remotename} {branchname}:refs/for/{branchname}

    e.g.:

    git push yugerritremote master:refs/for/master

    it's only 12.1 ... so don't get too much excited. See below yutopia is on CM 13.0 nightlies... it'll be atleast 4 months for yureka to get any Marshmallow updates.

    @Sarthak Jain is gapps also required at the time of flashing ? I will flash my Yureka Plus today with the ROM and kernel you suggested, are you experiencing any issues with this ROM and kernel ? Do you suggest any better stable ROM that i should try ?

    Yes you need gapps also... Use OpenGapps (www.opengapps.org)

    And, you can also use CM12.1 NIGHTLY builds.. They're also working good... No issues!

    I'm using them with XEON Kernel by @Somesh Thakur :)

    Hi @Sarthak Jain

    I used the CM12.1 SaberMod (by @DC07 https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=24269982087007775 ) with XEON Kernel (by @Somesh Thakur https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=24407100847292768) and pico ARM64, 5.1, gapps from opengapps.org, also using the ASUS theme works like a charm no issues so far. Only one concern, last night when i slept for 6 hours in that duration the battery fell by 8%, is there any optimization for this like sleep mode so i can schedule mobile sleep every night from 11:30 PM to 5:30 AM ?

    I was earlier using MIUI and there was option in that ROM

    Do this.. I found this awesome thing... Go to Kernel Adiutor app, then tap Misc Settings & set "Power Suspend State" to "LCD Panel"
